Event Rentals: Delivery & Setup

  • The minimum charge for events rentals is $25.00 and coding will only be charged for the days that the items were in use.
  • On-campus delivery is free between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Overtime labour charges will be incurred if requests require work outside of regular business hours.
  • Off-campus delivery and pick up of equipment is available but subject to approval. A standard fuel per kilometre fee and afterhours rates will apply.
  • Get started by Submitting an Event Rental Request Please keep in mind 5 - 7 days notice is required for event/rental requests. 48 hours notice is required to cancel events, or charges may be incurred.
  • Dates and times cannot be guaranteed during yearly University events. If a given date/time is not possible, you will be contacted as soon as possible.
  • If your event is to be held in the University Centre, please refer to Booking the University Centre regarding available facilities, equipment and refreshments prior to submitting an event rental request.

Availability of large numbers of tables and chairs may be limited during the following yearly events:

  • Orientation: The last week of August and first week of September
  • Examinations: Fall Semester, Winter Semester, December, and April
  • Convocation
  • College Royal Open House: March Break
  • Royal Winter Fair

Presentation Podiums, Flags and Backdrops
Materials Handling can obtain and deliver, with permission, one of two styles of podium pending availability.
 
Traffic Cone Grounds Traffic Barricade Pedestrian Traffic Control Aids
Pylons $5.00 each per day
Traffic Barricades are available on loan from the Grounds department.
GL coding must be provided with work request to cover cost of items if not returned.
Grey Garbage Container Blue Recycling Container Waste Containers
Both garbage and recycling cans (30 X 38 inch) are available on loan.
GL coding must be provided with work request to cover cost of items if not returned.
Extension Cords Power Bars Extension Cords and Power Bars
Both are available on loan. GL coding must be provided with work request to cover cost of items if not returned.
No Trip Cord Cover Anti-trip Cord Covers
