Eating Green

As with living green, the concept of "eating green" encompasses a variety of factors and perspectives. Eating green not only means being environmentally friendly with what we eat, but also making ethical choices and supporting our communities. The true aim of eating green is to maximize nutritional value and minimize waste.

The Eating Green section explores some of the different dietstyles that are considered green, explains the rationale behind the local food movement, and highlights some of the campus initiatives meant to promote sustainable eating.

Tips and resources on how to reduce waste in our food habits can also be found in this section.
